Wuthering Waves version 1.1, Thaw of Eons has been fairly exciting for the community. The game has an enormous map, and players can spend a lot of time exploring the open world, encountering mysteries and objectives at every turn. One such place is an exile encampment West of Remnant Residence. If you try to enter this camp, you will be stopped by an Exile and will be asked to present an Exile Commoner access card.

While exploring a small island north of the Remnant Residence, you will come across an Exile being attacked by a pack of wolves. After defeating the wolves and saving this Exile, he will introduce himself as Zeyuan. Upon talking to him, you will unlock the quest called "A True Arena Champion."

Enable the quest tracking, and you will find Zeyuan waiting for you at the entrance of the Exile camp, who will then send you into the camp to talk to other Exiles and inquire about the situation there.

Once you are done talking to the Exile commoners and their leader, head back to Zeyuan, and he will give you the access card. You now have the Exile Commoner access card and can easily walk into the camp without being stopped. But the quest does not end here.

Zeyuan has registered you for the competition at the camp. You must now complete three trials at different locations to prove your skill. Completing each trial will earn you a badge, which you can submit to the Receptionist to complete your registration.

After arriving at the Seaside Arena, the competition begins. You must face three waves of enemies, each increasing in difficulty. After you clear the waves, talk to the Gladiator Champion and Exile Resonator to continue the quest. Forward the time to 12 pm the next day, and return to the arena to commence the final battle.

Your final battle against the Gladiator Champion will be in two phases. During the first phase, the Gladiator Champion will spawn two Chasm Guardian Echoes to fight alongside him. But keep your focus on the Gladiator Champion as defeating him will be the end of the battle in this phase.

After defeating him the first time, you will enter the second phase of the battle, where he will spawn Prism Echoes to aid him. Taking out the echoes first is key to winning this battle efficiently, as they give him more power.

After the second phase, the Gladiator Champion is officially defeated, and the quest will end once you have properly spoken with and bid farewell to everyone at the Exile Camp.

Completing the quest "A True Arena Champion" will award you with a trophy called A Desperate Gamble, giving you Five Astrites. Some other rewards for completing this quest include:
