Wuthering Waves G05-??? echo location, unlock guide, and how to beat it

The G05-??? echo in Wuthering Waves is the code for one of the new echoes you can find in the new region of Mt Firmament. You can find the code for this monster in your Data Bank. That said, you will need to defeat and absorb it to unlock its name, get some Data Bank XP, and level it up to obtain various rewards. This echo can be tracked as soon as you reach the new location.

The G05-??? echo is located in the Mt Firmament region. Follow the main quest till you mean with Changli in Wuthering Waves. Both of you will travel to the new area. From here on, you will be able to explore the entire region except a few key locations.

Now pause the game and open your Data Bank. Go to the Echo Gallery tab and scroll till you can find the echo. Select the Detect button and it will show the location of the nearest enemy. You will encounter this monster in the lush plain between the Lustrous Shore and Hongzhen village.

This Tacet Monster is called the Clang Bang and it is a part of the Celestial Light and Freezing Frost Sonata effect set.

Tips to beat the G05-??? (Clang Bang) in Wuthering Waves

Clang Bang is an overworld tacet enemy. It does not require you to formulate a strategy like the new weekly boss Jue in Wuthering Waves. You can defeat it with any character as long you have properly invested in them. However, keep in mind it is unwise to take Glacio units against the Clang Bang as it has high Glacio resistance.

Here are a few tips to defeat the new enemy Clang Bang:

• Clang Bang will pounce and attack you. It is wise to either evade or run away. The new area of Mt Firmament will have tougher foes than mainland Huanglong.
• If you are using ranged characters like Chixia, or Encore, try to maintain a distance while attacking.
• Clang Bangs will generally come in a group of three. It is wise to have a few AoE DPS units.
