Mithril is the penultimate quest in the Second Coming of Solaris event in Wuthering Waves and the sixth overall. Like the previous editions, it is a simple task that should not take more than five minutes. You will be tasked with submitting a reference for the titular Mithril to complete the Second Coming of Solaris fictional story.

To kick off the Mithril quest in the Second Coming of Solaris event, teleport to the Jinzhou resonance beacon near the Pioneer Association and approach Maqi.

Maqi will provide you with the reference for Mithril. You can proceed to ask her clues which leads to a conversation with Fuyan near the Souvenir Shop.

Fuyan provides some insight into what Mithril is and gives you a Lampylumen that can submit to Maqi. However, you can skip this step if you have the following minerals in your inventory:

• Lampylumen
• Indigoite
• Scarletthorn

Submit any of them to Maqi to complete this quest. It is recommended you turn in Indigoite as Lampylume is used to buy items from the Tiger's Maw Ore shop and Scarletthorn is one of the two materials required to create Sonar Circuits.

Rewards for completing Mithril quest

Once you submit the mineral to Maqi, a small interruption is played before she expresses her gratitude. As a reward for completing the Mithril quest, you get the following rewards:

• Astrite x60
• Advanced Sealed Tube x4
• Shell Credit x30000

The final quest in this event is titled "Burning Jade of Light" and will become available to play once the daily server reset hits.
