Wuthering Waves Norfall Barrens Mutterfly locations

Mutterfly in Wuthering Waves is a group of small golden insects found in the wild during exploration. As of version 1.0, one can find up to 106 Mutterflies all over the map, eight of which can be spotted in Norfall Barrens, the northernmost region in Huanglong. Following these creatures back to their pillars gives five Astrite rewards each, making it one of the sources of Astrites via exploration in the game.

Wuthering Waves: All 8 Mutterfly locations in Norfall Barrens

Mutterfly #1

You can find a Mutterfly near the abandoned building (Image via Kuro Games)

Start by teleporting to the Resonance Beacon in Northwest Suspended Ruins and head northeast to find the first Mutterfly near a bent signpost and an abandoned building. Note that there are several Tacet Discords around this area so beware.

You can find another Mutterfly above a tree stump slightly east of the spot where you found the first Mutterfly. Follow the insects and climb the rocks to get five Astrites.

Teleport to the northwestern Resonance Beacon in Suspended Ruins and head southeast to find a Mutterfly flying above a broken pillar behind a couple of trees. You will also find a few Tacet Discords nearby while you follow the golden insects so beware.

Teleport the Resonance Beacon on the eastern island of Suspended Ruins and head east to find a Mutterfly flying above a tree stump. You will also find a Tidal Heritage nearby so it is easy to spot.

Return to the Resonance Beacon mentioned previously and head west. You will find a Mutterfly flying next to an abandoned ship on a small island.

Once again, return to the Resonance Beacon on the east island of Suspended Ruins and head north. You will find a Mutterfly flying over a bush across a large abandoned building.
