Scar is one of the most difficult weekly bosses in Wuthering Waves. This formidable foe is also featured as the final boss on Floor 4 of Echoing Tower in Tower of Adversity. He has two forms in the game, the normal one and the Aberrant Nightmare form, both of which have different attack patterns yet deal a lot of pain.

While many players enjoy the challenge that Scar presents, some face difficulty in defeating him and completing the Tower of Adversity. The major hurdle for them has been the high frequency of attacks performed by the boss, which may be tough for some, especially those on sub-par devices.

It appears Kuro Games will address this issue and optimize Scar in the next iteration of Tower of Adversity.

Kuro Games is set to reduce the difficulty of the Scar boss fight in the Hazard Zone of Tower of Adversity. He appears as the final boss in Echoing Tower's Floor 4 and can be quite difficult to defeat for those unprepared. As such, the developers will make some adjustments to the encounter in Wuthering Waves.

Based on the in-game notice, Kuro Games will nerf Scar starting from the upcoming iteration of Tower of Adversity, which will be released on August 19, 2024, at 4 am server time. The developers will optimize the frequency of Scar's attacks, providing players a bit of time to dodge and survive his onslaught.

While the changes won't affect the boss enemy's damage output or gameplay mechanics in any way, it will certainly make it a little easier for players to face him. This adjustment will most likely help casual players who may have felt discouraged in the face of such an intense challenge.

Moreover, Kuro Games will reward players with 80x Astrites as compensation for any inconvenience caused due to this issue.

Tips to defeat Scar in Wuthering Waves' Tower of Adversity

Although defeating Scar will hugely rely on the player's skill and their Resonator builds, the following tips can help make the fight a tad bit easier:

• Dodging is key against Scar as he performs a variety of attacks with different ranges.
• Keep an eye on the floor as there are markings indicating where Scar's attacks will land.
• Counterattack as much as possible. Not only does it safeguard from incoming damage, but it also weakens Scar.
• In the team, include Resonators capable of dealing Fusion DMG to Scar's Aberrant Nightmare form.
