Reports from a Chinese game industry research website, GameLook, claim Wuthering Waves has made over 800 million Yuan, roughly 110 million USD, within a month after its global release. While the title faced many in-game issues in the opening week, that didn't stop it from expanding its market and making massive profits.

The open-world action RPG from Kuro Games has also secured the number one spot for downloads on Top Charts in 100 regions. It recorded over 30 million downloads worldwide in the opening three weeks of launch.

According to reports from a popular game industry research platform, GameLook, Wuthering Waves has made over 800 million Chinese Yuan in revenue in its first three weeks after launch. The amount is roughly estimated to be around $110 million.

Furthermore, the website predicts that, if the trend continues, the title from Kuro Games might surpass one billion Chinese Yuan in the first natural month, from May 23 to June 23, roughly $140 million, which would be a massive achievement.

As mentioned, Wuthering Waves faced many problem during its launch, such as lag and graphics issues, but the developers released many hotfixes to fix them and give players the best experience.

According to the latest data from AppMagic, Wuthering Waves has made over $36 million within a month on mobile devices only.

As of writing, 25% of this revenue comes from the Chinese players, making them the largest spenders. This is followed by 22% from Japanese players. Fans from the US and South Korea are the third and fourth largest spenders with 16% and 14%, respectively.

Within the first three weeks after launch, the title released Jiyan and Yinlin as playable characters. The duo are two of the most popular units in the game, which also played a huge part in the game's financial success.
