Wuthering Waves reveals Carlotta's idle and gacha animations

Carlotta in Wuthering Waves is a brand-new resonator who will become part of the game when the 2.0 update releases on January 2, 2025. She is a 5-star Glacio character who uses a Pistol as her preferred weapon. Ahead of her debut, Kuro Games has revealed footage of her idle and summoning animations.

Wuthering Waves Carlotta idle and convene animations

Carlotta is an upcoming character from the Rinascita region who will be featured during the first half of the Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. Kuro Games provided a sneak peek of her animations via a one-minute-long clip shared on social media.

Here's what the video entails:

Idle animations

The footage starts with Carlotta's first idle animation, where she is staring at a red-colored gem in her right hand. As she closes her palm, the jewel disappears.

In her second idle animation (timestamp: 00:13s), Carlotta summons a peculiar shiny metallic chair with two legs. She twirls around with the chair following her movement and then proceeds to sit. As she descends, she summons a teacup and saucer to her palm and then begins to sip tea from it once she becomes seated. Once she is done, the cup disappears.

Convene animation

Following the idle animations, Kuro Games showcases Carlotta's convene animation (timestamp: 00:30s). Once a player obtains this 5-star character, they will see a small clip that will begin with Carlotta sitting in her chair and inspecting the red gem from her idle animation. Then, we get to see a close-up of her face as she brings the gem towards her eye and smashes it with her hand.

The scene then shifts to mirrors breaking, and Carlotta is seen standing beneath the glass with her gun. She then turns around, smiles, and gives a pose.

Gameplay footage

Afterward, the video features Carlotta's gameplay (timestamp: 00:44s). The developer showcases her various attacks, including her Elemental Burst. Fans can see her in action using her weapon to get a feel of her fighting animations.
