Wuthering Waves: Southern Tethys' Deep Island chest location and how to reach it

The new Black Shores region in the Wuthering Waves 1.3 update is home to a bunch of immersive and exciting puzzles that offer a ton of Astrites and treasure chests as rewards. While there are many islands in this new region, one such island located in the far south in the Tethys' Deep region may prove to be a challenge to get to.

This mysterious small island harbors a Standard Supply Chest, which can contribute towards getting a 100% exploration of the entire Black Shores region. This article will provide a complete guide on how to reach this particular island in Wuthering Waves.

Wuthering Waves: How to reach the Southern Tethys' Deep Island chest

The island is located in the extreme southwest corner of the Tethys' Deep region. You can find it on the map if you look south from the Eidoscope sub-region. This island is not easily accessible, as you cannot swim towards it, or use any of the character's exploration abilities to reach it.

To begin your journey towards the island, teleport to the Resonance Beacon south of Energy Hub. If you look towards the west, you will find a robot named KU-Key right near the Beacon. Talk to it, and a portal will appear. Pass through the portal to reach the location of the Alptop Champion Unique Tacet Discord.

Once you pass through the portal, look to your right, and you will notice a large rock in between three corrupted red pillars. Climb the rock and get on top of it. You will almost be able to see the island through the fog.

From here, you can simply jump from the rock and glide south towards the island. It is important to note that gliding toward the island will consume most of your stamina, so make sure that you have a full stamina bar before you start gliding. You can also utilize your Grapple gadget to easily get there.

Once you reach the island, you will find a Standard Supply Chest right in the middle of it.
