Traces of Mt. Firmament is a limited-time event that is part of Version 1.1 of Wuthering Waves. It revolves around taking important photographs across different areas in the Mt.Firmament region. Completing all the tasks in this event lets you obtain valuable materials such as Astrites, Sealed Tubes, Shell Credits, and more.

Wuthering Waves: Traces of Mt. Firmament event guide and rewards

To start the Traces of Mt. Firmament event, you have to complete Act 7 of the main quest, Jinzhou Rising. After its completion, initiate the Scale of Memories side quest. Have a chat with Uncle Fu and obtain the Trace Scale. This allows you to complete the nine tasks in this event.

The first task can be completed immediately after ending the Scale of Memories quest. Go to the designated location and take a photo in a manner where both trees are visible in the frame.

Head over to the big pond in Hongzhen to spot the marker for the second photo. After interacting with the required objective, use your Sensor to find the next piece of information. Climb the lamp post next to you and take a photo of the lamp next to the Souvenir Store to complete this task.

Teleport to the Hongzhen resonance nexus and drop down to find a little boy being attacked by Clang Bang. Defeat it and talk to the boy to find out the picture you need to take. You have to capture a photo where the circular rings of Mt. Firmament are in the frame. Complete this to obtain the rewards of the third task.

Head to the Tianqu Tree to start the fourth task. Unlike previous tasks, you don't need to take a photo. All you have to do is talk to an elderly man near the Tianqu Tree. Listen to his musings to obtain the photo and rewards.

Teleport to the Xuanji Ridges resonance beacon which is located near the edge of Luminous Shore. Use your sensor in the marked area to obtain the necessary information. Take a photo of Loong's Crest which resembles the face of Jue to complete this task.

Go to the Truthseeker's Pass resonance beacon and head to the upper level of the area. Continue till you reach a room with circular structures. Take a photo of the said structures to complete the task.

Teleport to the Mianloong Chamber resonance beacon. Interact with the marker next to the resonance beacon to obtain information. Similar to the Tianqu Tree task, you don't need to capture a photo to complete this task and collect the rewards.

Teleport to the Xuanji Ridges resonance beacon near the large circular structures. Make your way to the shore as designated by the event's location marker. Talk to the old man to get some clues on the photo you need to take.

While the task does tell you to take a photo of the sunset, I completed the task while the in-game time was in the afternoon which means the clue doesn't have to be followed to a tee.

Your final stop is the resonance beacon below the Loong's Crest peak. Head to the marker to collect a clue. Go forward a bit to take a photo of the seaside ruins opposite you.
