Wuthering Waves Where Stars Slumber event guide

Where Stars Slumber is a new area exploration event in version 1.3 of Wuthering Waves. It is similar to the Tales from Mt. Firmament event (from version 1.1), and is meant to familiarize players with the locales, enemies, and new challenges of The Black Shores map. This event is divided into three phases, and each can be unlocked as you play through the quests available in Wuthering Waves 1.3.

Where Stars Slumber can be unlocked only after reaching Union Level 14, and after arriving at The Black Shores region while playing the main quest "To the Shore's end."

This article provides a guide on completing all the tasks in the Where Stars Slumber event, along with an overview of the rewards available.

Wuthering Waves Where Stars Slumber event tasks and rewards

Where Stars Slumber is divided into three segments, namely Seaside Wandering, Depths of Galaxy, and Lifetime of Adventures. Each segment has four tasks, which you will need to complete in order to claim the corresponding rewards.

Seaside Wandering

Here's how to complete the four tasks in the first segment Seaside Wandering:

1) Touch the Modulation Device in the Greenhouse

This task can be completed while finishing the Amidst the Stars: II event challenge. Simply teleport to the Eidoscope Resonance Beacon in Tethys' Deep and walk straight up the stairs to reach the Greenhouse. Use your Sensor and touch the glowing note to finish this task.

2) Activate the Resonance Beacon at the Eye of Asteria

You can easily complete this task by tracking the mission. Navigate to the Resonance Beacon marked on the map and activate it.

3) Climb up the Anchor and open the Supply Chest

Claim the chest at the top of the anchor to complete this task (Image via Kuro Games)

This is another mission that can be tracked. Halt the data corruption on the anchor (if you haven't done so already) and climb to the very top of the tower to claim an Advanced Supply Chest.

4) Yhoran's Tactical Trial I

Defeat the enemies located in this particular area of the map to complete Yhoran's Tactical Trial I in Wuthering Waves. Alternatively, you can also navigate to the location simply by tracking it from the event mission page.

Rewards from Seaside Wandering

Depths of Galaxy

Here's how to complete the four tasks in the second segment Depths of Galaxy in Wuthering Waves:

1) Find the Shorekeeper in the Tethys' Deep: Eidoscape

Choose the "Head to the End of Wandering" option (Image via Kuro Games)

This task can be completed by heading over to the Greenhouse in the Eidoscape area in Tethys' Deep. Once at the Greenhouse, walk up to the middle of the room and click on the "Head to the End of Wandering" option to find The Shorekeeper and complete the task.

2) Complete the Water-Skiing challenge in Tethys' Deep

This challenge is located in the marked area on the small island northeast of the Tethys' Deep Bank of Life northern Resonance Beacon. Interact with the Aetherfin to complete the Aetherfin Water-Skiing challenge and finish the task.

3) Reach Data Hub Level 3

Upgrade the Data Hub to level 3 by delivering KU-Cass cartridges (Image via Kuro Games)

Talk to KU-Cass at Tethys' Hub and choose the "I'd like to deliver KU-Cass Cartridges" option. Next, click on the "Deliver All" option to deliver the KU-Cass Cartridges in your inventory and upgrade the Data Hub to Level 3.

The KU-Cass Cartridges can be obtained either by completing The Black Shores Main Quest or via Yhoran's Tactical Trials.

4) Yhoran's Tactical Trial II

Navigate from the event page and reach the specified location. Defeat the enemies as per the objectives to complete Yhoran's Tactical Trial II. Yhoran's Tactical Trials are present in various locations across The Black Shores map, so you can complete any of them to complete this challenge.

Here's how to complete the four tasks in the third and last segment, Lifetime of Adventures in Wuthering Waves:

1) Complete "Cerulean Echoes Adrift in the Winds"

Finish the two side quests, Cerulean Echoes Adrift in the Winds I & II, to complete this task.

2) Complete the Hedgepuff Challenge

The Hedgepuff Challenge is located north of the TD Observatory Resonance Beacon in The Black Shores Archipelago. Defeat the Hedgepuff and complete the challenge to finish this task. Note that you need to level up your Data Hub to at least Level 1 in order to unlock the Outlier Tacet Discord Hedgepuff.

3) Talk to KU-Repair and complete quest "Boundary of Deduction"

Interact with Ku-Repair at Error Cell in Tethys' Deep to start the Boundary of Deduction quest. You can navigate to KU-Repair's location from the event page. Finish playing the Boundary of Deduction quest to complete this task.

4) Talk to the data researcher and complete quest "Data Overdash"

Interact with the data reseracher NPC located in the northeastern Tethys' Deep island to start the quest, Data Overdash. Finish it according to the objectives to complete this task.

Rewards from Lifetime of Adventures

Wuthering Waves Where Stars Slumber overall event rewards

Completing tasks in all three segments of the Where Stars Slumber event will give you a total of 100 Stardust, which you can exchange to claim a total of 500 Astrites, a Deep Sky Blazar weapon of your choice, and other in-game rewards.

You can claim rewards at different stages of Stardust collection, such as:

20 Stardust: 50 Astrites, 10 Premium Resonance Potion, 100000 Shell Credits
40 Stardust: 50 Astrites, 10 Premium Energy Core, 100000 Shell Credits
60 Stardust: 100 Astrites, 1 Molded Elite Class Echo I, 6 Forgery Advanced Supply
80 Stardust: 100 Astrites, 1 Molded Elite Class Echo II, 6 Forgery Advanced Supply
100 Stardust: 200 Astrites, 1 Deep Sky Blazar Weapon Chest, 6 Forgery Premium Supply
