WWE fans were pretty upset on hearing about WWE Diva AJ Lee’s retirement from the company recently. The announcement came as quite a shock to some of her fans, as many did not expect her to leave the company so soon. AJ joined WWE back in 2009, and became one of the company’s most popular female wrestler in recent years.
The company has not revealed an exact reason for her early retirement, though many suspect that this was due to pregnancy, which has not been confirmed yet.
With the Diva retiring this April, there is a chance that she might not be included in WWE 2K16, since the game is out by either October or November, though many of her fans are hoping otherwise.

Developers 2K Games also noted the wrestlers retirement on twitter, and encouraged her to “#stayweird”. Community manager for WWE Games, Marcus Stephenson, tweeted that “she will be missed.”
But there is a slim chance that AJ might be included in the 2K16 roster after all, since the developers and WWE finalize the games roster a few days after Wrestlemania, and AJ Lee was still in WWE during Wrestlemania 31 and a day after, there is a slight chance that she could still appear in the next game.
Here’s hoping AJ Lee is included in the roster, but if for some reason she is not, then 2K Games should at least allow players to create female wrestlers. The feature was missing from the recent WWE 2K15, which doesn’t make a lot of sense.
WWE 2K15 is available now for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
