TJ Perkins won the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Classic and was crowned the first WWE Cruiserweight Champion of the current era. However, his run as champion flustered and he soon lost his title. His heel turn didn't go off that well either and WWE saw fit to release TJP earlier this year.
The release means that TJP will not be returning in WWE 2K20 which will definitely come as a disappointment to his fans.

Nick Miller signed with WWE along with tag-team partner Shane Thorne. The duo had made their name in Japan as The Mighty Don't Kneel and debuted in NXT under the name TM-61. After they had to take time off due to a injury to Shane Thorne, it was finally starting to click for the duo.
However, Miller decided he wanted to stay closer to his family after recenlty becoming a father and WWE granted his release. Miller is now signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling which means that he's another Superstar who won't return in WWE 2K20.
