The game is facing saved data issues

WWE 2K15 players have come across a pretty nasty bug lately that apparently wipes out the games saved data. 2K Games is now investigating the bug in the hopes to resolve it. Many gamers have complained to 2K games that their games saved data has somehow been reset causing them to lose hours of gameplay. There is no apparent reason for why this is happening but it seems to be more common on the Xbox One versions of the game than the PS4.

Players are understandably annoyed with the bug and are urging 2K to fix it. 2K has taken note of the issue and have responded to it in their recent support website, stating that their tech team is working on investigating and fixing the issue and they have “one workaround to recommend in the meantime“.

To avoid the issue, 2K has urged players to not leave the “game idle on the title screen”, as this seems to be the main cause of the bug. So players will not encounter the problem if they follow this tip. But this is only the case with the title and screen and 2K has said that players will not encounter the bug on the following screens: Main Menu, My WWE, Xbox Live, 2K Showcase, Story Showcase, 2K Showcase Timeline, Options, and My Creations.

This is just a temporary solution till 2K games can come up with a fix which should hopefully be soon as this is a pretty annoying bug for players to deal with. Here is our review of WWE 2K15.
