The status page for Xbox Live has been updated with this message : “Were you having issues signing in to Xbox Live? Good news! Our awesome team has found and fixed the issue and everything is running great again! Thanks for your patience while we got this worked out. Have fun!” The message comes after a series of complaints from xbox users regarding issues with Xbox Live. However, various services are still listed as “limited.”
The official Xbox Live status page reports that the Xbox Live Core Services are experiencing limited functionality at the moment. This affects signing into Xbox Live, and should only impact gamers on Xbox One. The other services are functioning quite well, but users who cannot sign in properly will still be unable to access everything. The problem arose eary in the day yesterday. Microsoft is aware of the problem, but no estimated fix time has been reported as of now. The only official comment is the one available on the status page, which reads “If you’re having issues signing in to Xbox Live, please know that we are aware of the issue and our team is hard at work trying to get it fixed. We appreciate your patience while we get this figured out. Check back here for another update in 30 minutes.”
Xbox Live has actually had much fewer connection problems than their competing services from Nintendo and Sony. Anyhow, the problem is being dealt with and a solution is expected any moment.
