XDefiant has an Average Skill Rating system which will let you know how good you are in matchmaking and how you stack up against others. The shooter does not have a stat display system which is so very common to other games of its genre, which is why you will have to go through some hoops just to get a firm understanding of where you stand.

Hence, it’s not surprising that many in the community are having some trouble understanding Average Skill Rating and how they can go about checking it. This is why today’s XDefiant guide will go over everything you need to know about this rank feature in the shooter.

To be able to check your Average Skill Rating in XDefiant, you will first be required to invest a good many hours playing the game. Your stats will not compile if you haven’t played many matches, and some in the community suggest that you will at least need to get 30 hours in before the game can properly show you the Average Skill Rating.

Once you have played the required amount you will then need to:

  • Make your way to the Profile tab from the main menu of the shooter and then head to Career Stats.
  • Here, you will be able to see your performance, including important stats like K/D ratio, win-to-loss ratio, Score to Minute ratio as well as the Average Skill Rating.
  • If you are checking the stats before completing a certain number of matches in XDefiant you will see a tremendous amount of fluctuations as the system in the shooter will still be compiling your average ratings.
  • So the stats become relevant once you have invested a lot of time in the various modes and completed games.

Your Average Skill Rating will also determine your matchmaking in gameplay. As XDefint features a skill-based matchmaking system, the more hours you put into the game the better will the shooter be able to place you in proper queues.

Hence, make the most of the in-game stat system after you have at least poured in 30 hours playing the game and climbing through the competitive ladder.
