Following its conclusion, developers will release a plethora of content for Season 1, ranging from a brand new GSK faction to a new ranked mode, brand new weapons to faction-specific gadgets. According to the official X of Ubisoft’s arena shooter title, the downtime will be around 2 hours. Meanwhile, it might get extended for unfortunate scenarios. Players worldwide can expect an official statement from Ubisoft’s official forums if such unfortunate circumstances occur.

On the other hand, following the conclusion of XDefiant Season 1 downtime today (July 2), the developers are pushing a big patch update containing new maps, a brand-new faction, new gadgets, some quality-of-life updates, and numerous content.

What can we expect after XDefiant Season 1 downtime?

As mentioned previously, players worldwide will witness a plethora of content after the conclusion of the XDefiant Season 1 downtime session. The developers are about to introduce a brand new XDefiant Season 1 Battle Pass, containing new emotes, XCoins, and weapon skins.

Additionally, players are about to get their hands on the new faction named GSK, inspired by the Rainbow Six Siege’s German GSG9 faction. The faction will be provided with well-known gadgets from the R6 universe featuring shockwires, ADS, and others.

On the other hand, Patrick Price (System designer of XDefiant) unveiled three brand-new weapons. The first one is an LVOA-C Assault rifle, featuring a better fire rate and handling than most of the rifles in-game.

The second weapon is an L115 Sniper rifle, lying in the sweet spot between one heavy Tac 50 and a light M44 sniper rifle. Lastly, the much-awaited secondary Sawed-Off shotgun will finally blast onto the scene, featuring lethal damage in close range.

Apart from these aforementioned changes, the arena shooter will be introduced with a brand new Clubhouse map. Moreover, the developers have promised to bring in two more maps- Rockefeller and Daytona, inspired by Ubisoft’s other in-house titles.

Surprisingly, the ranked mode will consist of only four players and four game modes (escort, occupy, domination, and zone control).

Lastly, the developers are bringing in new mastery Camos, unlocked after reaching levels 300, 350, and 400 respectively. Players can get their hands on Titanium Violet, Titanium Azure, and Titanium Prisma Camos after reaching a certain level with their weapons.
