Fans Felix "xQc" believe that he was "robbed" of the 'Streamer of the Year' award, after he failed to win it at the Streamer Awards ceremony that took place on March 12, 2022.
xQc was nominated for just two awards. However, the French-Canadian streamer ended the night with zero awards as the Streamer of the Year trophy was given to American streamer Ludwig. His fans were not happy that their favorite streamer returned from the ceremony empty-handed and made their thoughts known on Twitter.

xQc fans voice their displeasure after Ludwig beats him to become the Streamer of the Year
Streamer Awards 2022 took place on March 12, 2022, and was livestreamed on the Twitch channel of Blaire "QTCinderella." The show saw many awards being handed out to some really prominent streamers. One big streamer that missed out on taking home any award was xQc. He made a joke about it on Twitter as well.
Felix was only nominated in two categories: Streamer of the Year and GTA Roleplayer of the Year. However, he was beaten by QTCinderella's boyfriend and YouTube streamer, Ludwig. xQc fans were far from happy about the result of the vote and took to Twitter to express their feelings.
While some fans complained that the streamer was the most deserving person to win the award, others argued that there were many other streamers who had a much better year on the purple platform than him.
Some names that were mentioned include Matthew "Mizkif" and, of course the actual winner of the award, Ludwig.
Meanwhile, a few Twitter users trolled fans who were complaining about the streamer's loss. This was because the winners were decided based on a 70-30 split between the popular vote (as voted by fans) and the judge vote.
The overall reaction to the Streamer Awards 2022 was mostly positive. It was one of the most anticipated events of the year, especially since the event was finally able to be conducted offline. The ceremony was big and awards were handed out for 25 different categories. It was hosted by QTCinderella alongside streamer Maya Higa and happened in West Hollywood, LA.
The event was a spectacle with the biggest names in the streaming world being on the guestlist, while live music and red carpet interviews rounded off the evening.
