How do Chrono Tokens in Marvel Rivals work

One thing that many Marvel Rivals players still don't know is that you will lose all Chrono Tokens you have earned for free when the new season rolls around. This does not apply to Units and Lattices, two currencies that can be used to purchase shop items.

You can earn Chrono Tokens in Marvel Rivals by completing daily and weekly missions, or by spending the paid currency, Lattice. This in turn can be used to unlock items, such as emotes, skins, etc., from the battle pass.

A concern that many players have is what will happen to the Chrono Tokens that they purchased using Lattice.

• Any Chrono Token left will be automatically used to redeem items from the battle pass. Those who didn't purchase the premium tier will only get the items on the free one such as the Hela Empress of the Cosmos skin.

• After the auto redemption, you will lose all leftover Chrono Tokens that you have earned for free.
• If you have purchased Chrono Tokens in Marvel Rivals using Lattice, those will be carried over to the next season.
• You will get the purchased Chrono Tokens via the in-game mailing system once the new season kicks off.

Simply put, you will lose the free Chrono Tokens, but get to retain the ones purchased using Lattice. You cannot hoard this currency in Marvel Rivals unless you pay for it with Lattice. This acts as a safeguard so that you don't lose your money's worth in the game.
