Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Automation Engineer Dampe walkthrough

The newly released Nintendo title Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom features 30-35 hours of gameplay. If you are a completionist, you will have to complete 50 side quests as well. One of these side quests is named Automation Engineer Dampe. It is highly suggested that you complete this side quest as Dampe will gift you an Automation upon finishing the quest.

Automations are an important element of the game. These are mini robots that can come in handy during combat. If you need them repaired or upgraded, you will need to head over to Dampe's Studio. Even though the game is fairly easy, completing Automation Engineer Dampe might require a little assistance for those who are new to the franchise.

To start this quest, you need to ensure that you have completed the Hyrule Castle dungeon and the Still Missing quest from the main storyline. After this is done, simply head north of Hyrule Ranch and then turn to the fields to your right. As you start entering, a short cutscene will appear where you will see that a crow flew away with Dampe's key.

You need to get the key back from the crow. For this, there are several echoes available that can be used, like Ignizol Echo, which burns down the crow. Once you have retrieved the key, head over to Dampe's Studio located in the Eastern Hyrule Field area. Upon reaching the studio, Dampe will gift you five pumpkins and teach you about Automation.

Now, you need to show him two specific echoes to complete this side quest - Tektite and Mothula. If you don't already have these two echoes, here are the easiest ways to get them.

• To get Tektite for this side quest, look in the Hyrule Field near the Hyrule Ranch.
• For Mothula, visit the Gerudo Sanctum during the 'A Rift in Gerudo Desert' main story quest.

Once you show Dampe both of these echoes, you will finally receive your first Automation of the game.

Upon completion of this side quest, Dampe will gift you the Techtite Automation. This will blast the enemies around it during combat. In case your Automation breaks down, or needs an upgrade, you can go back to his studio and get it repaired in exchange for money or monster stones.
