- Limited banner
- Weapon's banner
- Standard banner
- Beginner's banner
Among these four, the beginner's banner stays in the game for a limited time, granting players a guaranteed chance at getting one S-tier character from the standard banner pool. After a specific number of pulls, the beginner's banner disappears, leaving only three.
Zenless Zone Zero limited banner Pity count and currency
The limited banner is the topmost banner with in-game characters featured on-screen. As far as guaranteed characters go, you will get a guaranteed A-rank character with 10 pulls and a guaranteed S-rank character with 90 pulls. Typically, you can also get an S-rank character before hitting the 90 count.
However, note that there is a 50% chance to get a character from the standard banner pool. If you get a standard banner character from the limited banner, the next S-rank will be the guaranteed featured character in the banner.
The currency required to pull characters in the limited banner is either Polychromes or Encrypted Master Tapes. A total of 160 Polychromes can be exchanged for 1 Encrypted Master Tape, which is essentially one pull.
Zenless Zone Zero W-Engine banner Pity count and currency
The W-Engine banner, i.e., the weapon's banner, guarantees an S-rank W-Engine at the 80th pull. Similar to other banners, an A-rank is guaranteed with every 10 pulls. Note that the 50-50 chance is active here as well, where players might not get the featured W-Engine.
W-Engine banners require Polychromes or Encrypted Master Tape, similar to the limited banner.
Zenless Zone Zero standard banner Pity count and currencies
The Pity count of the standard banner is the same as the limited banner, where an S-rank is guaranteed with 90 pulls. However, note that this S-rank drop can be anything from a character to a W-Engine.
The required currency for pulling in standard banners is Master Tape or Polychromes.
Note that reaching 300 pulls in the standard banner will get you a character of your choosing from the standard pool.
Zenless Zone Zero beginner's banner Pity count and currencies
As mentioned, a beginner's banner stays for a limited time during the game's initial period and disappears after dropping an S-rank character. Players will get a guaranteed S-rank with 50 pulls in the beginner's banner, with an additional discount of 8 Master Tapes for 10 pulls.
The currencies used here include Polychromes or Master Tape.
