As mentoned earlier, Notorious HUNTS in Zenless Zone Zero are weekly challenges similar to Trounce Domains from Genshin Impact or Echo of War from Honkai Star Rail. You can acquire rewards from the challenges three times each week. After the fourth completion, you will not get any rewards from the challenges.
Each time you clear a HUNT challenge, 60 Battery Charge will be consumed from your inventory, and you will be granted rewards. A challenge has several items in its loot pool, including precious relics, Master Copies, Plating Agents, W-Engine Chips, and Investigation Merits. You can turn in the Investigation Merits for various valuable items in Association Supplies.

Keep in mind that you need to have 60 battery Charge before starting the activity, or you won’t be able to acquire its rewards. Depending on what challenge you are completing, you will be granted any of the aforementioned in-game items, along with the Skill level-up material that can only be obtained from that specific boss.
Different skill level-up materials will be required to upgrade the Agents’ skills to the maximum level. Since dissimilar Agents require different materials, you will have to clear the HUNT challenges depending on what item you need.
Currently, there are three Notorious HUNT challenges available in the title:
- Newborn Dead End Butcher
- Unknown Corruption Complex
- Twin Marionettes
Apart from the normal three weekly clears, various “extra incentive” challenges will also be available every week. When players complete these challenges while clearing the activity, they will be granted certain rewards upon completion on top of the normal rewards.
The extra incentive challenges reset every week. This implies that players will be able to acquire additional loot each week.
