Zenless Zone Zero reroll guide: Tasks to prioritize, best characters, and more

With the release of Zenless Zone Zero on July 4, 2024, many are flocking to the title to begin their journey on New Eridu, the narrative's main world. The game consists of several S-rank and A-rank Agents that players can obtain from the gacha pool to build their teams. Naturally, many will be hoping to begin with an S-rank character, and if you are looking for a particular one, you may have to reroll in Zenless Zone Zero a few times.

Rerolling refers to the act of creating multiple accounts at the beginning of a gacha game with the intention of obtaining a desired character. You can start a new game and complete the playthrough until you are eligible to summon to try for the character you want. If you fail to get it, start the process again.

This guide will provide the steps to reroll in Zenless Zone Zero.

How to reroll in Zenless Zone Zero to get the most pulls

To reroll for a particular character in Zenless Zone Zero, make a new account and log in to the game. It is important to note that you cannot start the game with a guest account.

During the beginning, new players will receive 20 Master Tapes, which is the in-game currency for summoning. Moreover, if you join before August 13, 2024, you will get an additional 10 Master Tapes for a total of 30.

After starting the title, continue with the main story until you unlock Signal Search. You will be required to play for around half an hour to do so. Furthermore, it is recommended to try and reach level 5, as you will receive another 10 Master Tapes at this point.

Upon unlocking Signal Search, you can attempt to summon your desired character. It is important to note that you are guaranteed an S-rank Agent in the first 50 pulls on the Standard Banner.

At this point, if you fail to get what you want, you can make a new account and start the process again.

Best characters to reroll for in Zenless Zone Zero

ZZZ features the following six S-rank Agents in the Standard Banner:

• Grace
• Koleda
• Lycaon
• Nekomata
• Rina
• Soldier 11

While you can reroll to target any one of these ZZZ characters based on your individual preference, if you want to pick based on the meta, here are the best choices:

1) Lycaon

Lycaon is an Ice-type Stun character in ZZZ. He is capable of quickly filling Daze to stun enemies and deal high damage. His playstyles include punching and kicking, which may also be appealing to some.

If you are planning to get Ellen Joe in Zenless Zone Zero, it is recommended to prioritize Lycaon for rerolling.

2) Rina

Rina is an Electric-type Support and an excellent choice for any account. She can provide off-field damage and buff the Penetration Ratio of the party members. This ability can essentially ignore a percentage of enemy DEF and allow your DPS to deal more damage.

It is important to note that playing Rina effectively requires a certain understanding of her kit.

3) Grace

Grace is an Electric-type Anomaly character boasting fast-paced gameplay. She can quickly build up Anomaly and deal a high amount of damage. However, it will be important for you to be mindful of your gameplay when using her.

That said, you must note that Koleda, Nekomata, and Soldier 11 are also amazing Agents that are extremely fun to play and viable. While the former is another S-rank Stun character, the latter are strong DPS choices.
