Zenless Zone Zero time system explained

Zenless Zone Zero is an open-world game from HoYoverse, which means there is a day-night cycle. While roaming around the map, players will be able to witness the sunrise and the sunset depending on the time of the day, similar to Genshin Impact. If you log into the game for enough time, you will also be able to witness a full day-night cycle.

How does the time system work in Zenless Zone Zero?

As mentioned previously, similar to Genshin Impact, another gacha title developed by HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero also features the day-night cycle. This implies that players can experience sunset and sunrise while playing the game. However, the day-night cycle time is not related to the real world, meaning it will not take a total of 24 hours for a complete cycle.

Since the clock in this gacha title is always ticking, the time continuously changes. However, those who are not fond of a certain part of the day or night can manually change the time of their world. Manually changing the time in this gacha title from HoYoverse is rather simple, and those who have played Genshin Impact before will have an easy time doing so.

If you want to manually change your game’s time, the following section details the process:

• Fire up the HoYoPlay launcher on your device and launch Zenless Zone Zero. Those on their mobile phones can simply launch the game.
• Log into your account with the correct details and continue.
• After the game finishes loading, click on the part beside the Pause Menu that showcases the day and time of New Eridu.
• After clicking on it, a pop-up window will appear where you have to manually set your desired time. Click on Rest to finish the time-changing procedure.

When you complete the steps above, the time will automatically be changed to what you set in the clock previously. Keep in mind there is a restriction on this feature, which means you won't be able to constantly alter the game’s time.
