Zenless Zone Zero Watch Your Step event Day 1 guide

The Zenless Zone Zero Watch Your Step event has officially kicked off with the release of Zhu Yuan in the second phase of version 1.1. The Hollow Investigative Association is organizing this event, inviting independent investigators to enter different areas of Icedrift Hollow and complete commissions of varying difficulty on subsequent days.

You can participate in the Watch Your Step event only after reaching Inter-Knot Level 30 and the Chapter 2 Interlude Intermission main story. Here’s a guide explaining the activities on the first day of the event in Zenless Zone Zero.

Zenless Zone Zero Watch Your Step guide- Day 1 (Easy Mode)

To initiate the Watch Your Step event in Zenless Zone Zero, talk to Anton outside Random Play. Complete the successive interactions with the Safety Bangboo and access the Hollow Deep Dive system within the video store. Click on the event icon and select the first Icedrift Hollow commission.

Now, arrange your squad and dive into the Hollow Visualization TV Wall. This will be a puzzle segment comprising three floors, where you need to collect all the purple chests. Follow these routes on the first floor.

• Go right four times.
• Go down four times, to reach the second floor using the vortex.
• Go left twice and right once to drop down the fissure.
• Go left thrice.
• Go up two blocks to get the first chest.

Use the same vortex to get to the second floor and follow the steps below to progress:

• Go up thrice.
• Go left once.
• Go down once.
• Go up and left.
• Now, go up and right.

These are the routes you need to follow once you reach the third floor:

• Go right, down, left, and up, two blocks each.
• Go left twice.
• Go all the way down and take two steps to the right.

Use the closest fissure to reach the second floor and collect the pink puzzle. Return to the third floor and enter the critical stage. Defeat the enemies to complete the easy mode of Watch Your Step Day 1.

Enter the same Icedrift Hollow again by switching to the Hard Mode. The target this time is to collect five HIA data samples. You will have to go back and forth between the floors, so there’s no real way to navigate each step. But you can follow the directions below to complete the sequence.

• Collect the coins and enter the vortex to reach the second floor.
• Again, use the vortex at the top to reach the third floor.
• Drop down using the fissure in the top right corner.
• Collect the closest data sample and use the adjacent fissure to obtain the next one from the first floor.
• Access the vortex below to move a floor above and pick up the third HIA data sample.
• Get to the third floor using the closest vortex.
• Go three blocks to the right obtaining the final two data samples along the way and enter the combat stage.

Defeat the Ethereals inside the Hollow to complete the hard mode of Watch Your Step Day 1 in Zenless Zone Zero.
