Zenless Zone Zero Yanagi Mindscape Cinema, explored
You can unlock the Mindscape Cinemas of Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero by summoning her multiple times. Depending on the number of copies stacked, she will gain the following effects and enhancements:
- M1: When any squad member inflicts an Anomaly on an enemy, Yanagi gains a stack of Clarity, up to three times lasting 15 seconds. Consecutive triggers reset the duration. When hit by an enemy attack, she consumes a Clarity stack to gain invulnerability for one second. Obtaining one or more stacks of Clarity increases her Anomaly Proficiency by 80.
- M2: During her EX Special Attack, the rapid thrust's Electric Anomaly Buildup increases by 15%. Holding down the Special Attack button when this effect hits an enemy will consume 10 additional Energy to launch another thrust. If Energy is insufficient or the button is released, she follows up with the downward strike after the attack.
- When the downward attack hits an enemy suffering an Anomaly and triggers Polarity Disorder, the DMG multiplier is boosted by 25% of the original Disorder effect. Each additional thrust increases this multiplier by 2.5%, up to a maximum of two extra hits.
- M3: Adds two levels on Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack.
- M4: When an enemy is afflicted with Yanagi’s Attribute Anomaly DMG on an enemy, they suffer the Exposed effect, for 15 seconds. Attacks on enemies under the Expose effect will have a 16% increased PEN Ratio.
- M5: Adds two levels on Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack.
- M6: When Yanagi launches the thrust attack during her EX Special Attack, the duration of the Shinrabanshou state increases to 30 seconds. While in the state, her ATK and EX Special Attack DMG increase by 15% and 20%, respectively.
- The maximum number of times the additional DMG multiplier increase effect for Polarity Disorder in Outstanding Adaptability can be triggered increases to four. The energy cost for the first four additional thrust attacks is halved.
Should you pull Yanagi’s Mindscape Cinema in Zenless Zone Zero?
Summoning multiple copies of Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero 1.3 isn't recommended for F2P players since they can invest their resources to gather more agents. This will provide more variety and team-building flexibility across the end-game content.
Yes, Yanagi's Mindscape Cinemas improves her kit by a mile. However, the game isn't too difficult, so Proxies might not require a highly invested agent, especially when her base skill sets are quite strong to begin with.
For fans who have saved all their wishes for Yanagi, Mindscape Cinema 1 should be a stopping point as it grants invulnerability for consuming Clarity stacks. Additionally, she will gain 80 Anomaly Proficiency, which will bolster her Shock DMG, for obtaining the Clarity stacks.
Lastly, frugal players can aim for Mindscape Cinema 6, to strengthen Yanagi. She gets a hefty ATK and EX Special Attack DMG boost from the passive. Additionally, her thrust attacks will consume less energy, meaning she can use them frequently.
