Zenless Zone Zero Zhu Yuan is the second limited S-Rank character for version 1.0 of the game. Zhu Yuan is a member of the “Criminal Investigation Special Response Team” - one of the game’s many “factions”. She is the second Ether Agent introduced in the game and has a very powerful kit.

• Crit Rate: 5%
• Anomaly Mastery: 93
• PEN Ratio: 0%
• ATK: 844
• Impact: 90
• Crit DMG: 50%
• Anomaly Proficiency: 92
• Energy Regen: 1.2

Keep in mind that these stats do not include Equipment or Mindscape Cinema bonuses. Increasing Zhu Yuan's level is necessary to get her best build as higher levels provide better Drive Discs

Zenless Zone Zero Zhu Yuan: Best Drive Discs

Zhu Yuan's build has two Drive Discs that stand out from the rest. Her ideal set of Drive Discs, along with their substats are as follows:

• Chaotic Metal: This is her 4-pc set. Chaotic Metal boosts Ether DMG by 10% (2pc), along with boosting the wearer’s Crit DMG by an additional 20% when equipped (4pc). Additionally, triggering Corruption on enemies by any of the squad members will boost her Crit DMG by 5.5% for 8 seconds - which can stack up to 6 times. Triggering this effect again will reset the timer.
• Woodpecker Electro: This is her 2-pc set. Equipping two of these Discs will boost the wearer’s Crit Rate by 8% total.

The recommended set of stats includes Crit DMG, Crit Rate, and ATK in terms of priority. As always, it is recommended to stack up on Skill materials and enhance Zhu Yuan to her maximum potential to get the best build.

Best in-class W-Engine

The best W-Engine for Zhu Yuan remains her signature, S-Rank gacha-only item - the “Riot Suppressor Mark VI”. This particular item possesses the following stats at Level 60:

• Base ATK: 713
• Crit DMG: 48%
• Effect: Boosts Crit Rate by 15%. Releasing an EX Special Attack will grant 8 Charge Stacks, which can then be consumed to boost the wearer’s Ether Skill DMG by 35%.

Keep in mind that these numbers do not include strengthening, which can be achieved by fusing duplicates of W-Engines.

Best free-to-play alternative

The best free-to-play alternative to the Riot Suppressor Mark VI is the [Lunar] Pleniluna, a B-rank farmable W-Engine. This item possesses the following stats at Level 60, with no further augmentations:

• Base ATK: 475
• ATK: 20%
• Effect: Boosts Basic ATK, Dash ATK, and Dodge Counter damage by 12% across the board.
