Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 pre-download size for Android, iOS, and PC

The Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 update is scheduled to launch globally on September 25, 2024, and it will bring with it plenty of new content, including events and banners. With the update release on the horizon, HoYoverse has rolled out a pre-download option for various platforms. Players can use this feature to obtain all the necessary files, so they can quickly access the new content upon release.

In its latest tweet, the game's officials have announced the preload details with the storage requirement. That said, this article provides details on the ZZZ 1.2 pre-download announcement and file size for Android, iOS, and PC.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 pre-download size for all platforms

The pre-load window for the Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 update is open, as of August 23, 2024. Below are the corresponding file sizes across different platforms:

• PC: Roughly 13 GB
• Android and iOS: Around 8 GB

So far, the preload option is available only on PC and mobile devices. Unfortunately, PS5 gamers will not be able to download the files and will have to wait until the official release to find out the total size of the patch.

HoYoverse has exclusively specified that the ZZZ 1.2 preload size will vary if you have installed additional voice packs for different languages. Thus, leave sufficient space to download the files.

Moreover, the final update will take up additional space on your device once all the files are extracted upon installation. The game will display the storage requirements upon clicking the pre-install button. On PC, this option should pop up on the HoYoPlay launcher, beside the Start button.

Android and iOS users must launch ZZZ to find the "Pre-Download Resource" icon on the login page. It is worth noting Proxies cannot play the game while downloading the pre-installation files on mobile devices. PC gamers, however, can do so during the preload process.
