Zenless Zone Zero Combat Footage Review event guide

HoYoverse has weaved a highly engaging patch with the Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 update, introducing new characters, game modes, and other compelling content. Players can also look forward to a variety of events, each providing opportunities to earn Polychrome via participation. Likewise, the Combat Footage Review kicked off on January 3, 2025, and provides lucrative currency and other resources.

All proxies have to do is solve different sets of photo puzzles to claim the freebies. This guide further discusses the requirements and requisites for the Combat Footage Review event in ZZZ.

Zenless Zone Zero Combat Footage Review event duration and requirements

HoYoverse has rolled out the Combat Footage Review event in Zenless Zone Zero on January 3, 2025. The event runs until January 13, giving players ten days to solve puzzle games and obtain the rewards. Players can earn Polychrome, Boopons, and other goodies during the event.

Note that only those who've reached Inter-Knot Lv. 15 and completed the Mole in the Hole (I) Agent Story will be able to participate.

How to complete Combat Footage Review event in Zenless Zone Zero

The gameplay loop for the Combat Footage Review is similar to the Ridu For You event from version 1.2. The only difference is that Proxies need to interact with Agent Ryan and Investigator Tully outside Random Play instead of the newsstand to access the photo puzzles. These puzzles consist of picture blocks with a blurred-out background.

Your task will be to move the tiles where they belong to complete the photo. You can use the silhouettes or refer to the actual composition. To do the latter, click on the orange icon at the bottom. Toggle the button again to bring back the puzzle screen.

In case you've scrambled the blocks, press reset for a fresh start. The event comprises five categories of puzzles in total, which will be unlocked on subsequent days. Additionally, each of the following categories contains three images.

• Abandoned Platform
• Construction Site
• Watch Your Back
• Explosive Moment
• Fishing Prohibited
