Zenless Zone Zero drip marketing reveals upcoming character Seth Lowell

Following the announcement for Qingyi, Zenless Zone Zero has teased another brand-new agent for version 1.1, called Seth Lowell. The latest drip marketing post has revealed his design and personality alongside his faction. It appears he will have certain dog-like characteristics in ZZZ, as evident by his peculiar ears.

Zenless Zone Zero drip markets version 1.1 character Seth Lowell

Seth Lowell is the second character to be drip-marketed for ZZZ version 1.1 after Qingyi. Similar to her and Zhu Yuan, he is also a part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team faction of Zenless Zone Zero and is responsible for public security in New Eridu.

His drip marketing post includes several voice lines from others which suggest that he is a hardworking and diligent officer.

Here is what Zhu Yuan had said about Seth:

"I believe it won't be long before Seth is able to handle his own."

A constable from the N.E.P.S. (New Eridu Publick Security) has the following thoughts about Seth:

"The road ahead is still long yet."

The drip marketing post also includes what a criminal said about him:

This kid tries as hard as ever when it comes to gritting his teeth and refusing to cry."

All of the above voice lines suggest Seth is dedicated to rising through the ranks of public security and is not above hiding his pain in front of the bad guys.

Apart from Seth Lowell's drip marketing, the developers also revealed his voice actor in ZZZ. According to the above post, Nazeeh Tarsha will be voicing the agent in the English dub of the game. They have also lent their voice to Alhaitham in Genshin Impact, another title from HoYoverse.

Let's look at some of Seth Lowell's voice lines from the ENG dub:

" I know you genuinely want to be my friend because you like me for me... and that's what counts."

Seth seems to appreciate friendships with no strings attached. It appears he is thankful to those who like him for his personality.

Another peculiar voice line sheds light on his motivation to become part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team. Apparently, it was an iconic dialogue from an old movie that led him down this path:

"I couldn't totally understand everything they said in that movie when I was little, but there's one line from the protagonist that really stuck with me: 'No matter what, you can never go wrong saving someone.'"
