Zenless Zone Zero’s Yanagi is one of the strongest Anomaly S-Rank characters that proxies can summon in version 1.3. She wields the Electric element to trigger shock damage, which also interrupts the opponent’s action, making them a stationary target. However, her potential increases significantly when paired with proper teammates.

To build the best composition for Yanagi, players must employ characters that can boost her Shock and Electric DMG during battle. Besides, a rotational Anomaly agent can also help inflict Disorder on target.

This guide outlines some of Yanagi's best teams in ZZZ.

Best teams for Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero

Yanagi+ Burnice+ Caesar

Burnice is by far the best teammate for Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero, given that she has strong off-field damage. As a Fire Anomaly agent, Burnice applies Burn on targets, which can be used to trigger Disorder. You must rotate between the two characters to consistently deal damage to targets.

Make sure to keep Yanagi active on the battlefield most of the time to use her stances and their corresponsing buffs. In fact, unleash the complete combo and switch to Burnice or Caesar. Speaking of Caesar, she is a domitable support unit capable of increasing allies ATK, stunning enemies, and tanking incoming damage.

Yanagi+ Seth+ Anton

Anton and Seth in Zenless Zone Zero are two of the most accessible teammates for Yanagi. You can pair them together to create a mono-Electric composition, given that all of them hail from the same element.

Seth, in particular, has been proven to be a solid buffer for Anomaly characters, as he can increase the Anomaly Master of a shielded ally. He can also stagger enemies, thanks to his increased impact. Seth is also built like a tank, with defense specialization, which helps him sustain most of the incoming damage.

In contrast, Anton is a powerful A-Rank DPS that could deal massive damage during rotations.

Yanagi+ Seth+ Rina

You can use Rina instead of Anton to create a premium version of the mono-Electric team for Yanagi. Here, Seth upholds the support role, providing shields and buffs to allies.

Moreover, Yanagi is the only damage dealer in the composition, which shouldn’t be a problem since she can deal massive Shock DMG on targets.

Especially with Rina, one of the best standard S-Rank agents, this setup is more than capable of tackling the end-game content in Zenless Zone Zero. She can increase an ally's Pen Ratio, boosting their overall damage output.
