Toro Rosso – Ace among the pack

The Red-Bull owned team has done well for itself and has managed to emerge as the leader of the back-markers. Danniel Ricciardo drove his heart out to get the last available point for his team and finished in 10th place at Spa. Pitted as a favourite to join Sebastian Vettel at Red-Bull for the 2014 season, the youngster is trying his best to gain as much experience as he can and learn from his mistakes. His team mate, Jean-Eric Vergne, though, wasn’t able to finish among the points but still managed to stay ahead of him by a point in the table (thanks to commendable finishes in Monaco and Canada). Toro Rosso are currently placed 7th in the Constructor’s tally.
