Christian Horner was appointed the team principal of the Red Bull F1 team in the 2005 season when the energy drink brand first made its entry onto the grid. He has since led the team to seven driver's championships and six Constructor's championships in an almost two-decade-long stint as the team leader.

Under his leadership, the Austrian team has undergone two separate dominant periods, from 2010 to 2013 and from the 2022 season up until now. During his tenure, the Briton has amassed a fortune of £80 million and has several expensive hobbies and terms in his collection.

He is also reportedly the highest-paid team principal on the grid with a salary of $10 million per year (via Entertainment Daily UK).

On that note, below are the three most expensive things owned by Christian Horner:

#1 Christian Horner owns a couple of James Bond Aston Martins

The Red Bull team boss is an avid car collector and was a racing driver as well in his junior years. After amassing a massive fortune, he decided to splurge on some eye-catching beauties, such as Aston Martin DB5 and DB11.

Both iconic cars have featured in the James Bond series, notably DB11 in Casino Royale and DB5 in Goldfinger and Skyfall. While the DB11 costs around $217k, the DB5 costs around a whopping $1.3 million.

#2 His drool-worthy car collection

Apart from the Aston Martins, Christian Horner also possesses a McLaren 720S which costs around $310k, two Infinity Q50s, each worth around $43k, and a 1968 Shelby Cobra 289 which is available for $430k in the market.

He is often spotted in a Honda Type-R while coming to the paddock in his day job. But it is unclear if he owns the Japanese car or is using it as the iconic brand is one of the partners of the world champions.

#3 Luxurious villa in Oxfordshire

Christian Horner is married to former Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell. The family of five resides in the countryside of Oxfordshire.

The luxurious villa has extensive grounds, state-of-the-art facilities, and elegant interiors such as a swimming pool, a private farm, five bedrooms, and a boating lake. The Red Bull team boss's home was featured in the Netflix Series 'Drive to Survive'.

In an interview with Luxury London, Horner spoke about the house in 2019 and said (via Entertainment Daily UK):

“We’ve lived in this place for about four years and it’s become the perfect home to relax in and get away from it all. My son, Monty, loves to ride his toy tractor around the place and in the house.
"Restoring the farm has been my hobby – the way I put racing out of my mind. The main house is finished but now the barns are being converted. We’re currently putting the finishing touches to an indoor swimming pool.”
