Probably one of the greatest racers in the history of F1, Michael Schumacher is bound to come up in the list. And the 2004 season was a fantastic season for him as he won a massive 12 races of the first 13. In fact, he would have made it 13 out of 13 if it wasn’t for his crash in the Monaco GP while he was leading it.
Schumacher has had many dominant seasons, but perhaps 2004 was the one year that showed how he was clearly the best in the world. It is impossible to know if he was better than Ayrton Senna, but if there was a close competitor, it has to be Schumacher.
