Since 2021, Red Bull has dominated the F1 space, winning drivers' and constructors' championships. Their star driver, Max Verstappen, has been key to their dominant stint on the track. However, several senior team members have been an integral part of the team's success.

In recent years, however, many of these senior members have left or will soon leave Red Bull. Here is a list of some of these key figures.

List of five integral senior members who left Red Bull in recent years

#1 Adrian Newey

Adrian Newey is one of the most important figures at Red Bull who will leave the team in 2025. Known for designing aerodynamic marvels, Newey has been Red Bull's chief technical officer and helped them design some of the most dominant cars in F1.

Newey joined the Austrian team back in 2006 when the team was still young. He then created championship-winning F1 cars from 2010-2013 and also 2021 to 2024.

In May, the team announced Adrian Newey's departure. They stated that he would leave after completing the RB17 supercar project sometime in March 2025.

#2 Rob Marshall

Rob Marshall was another major piece in Red Bull's puzzle that recently left the team in 2023. He too worked with the Milton Keynes team since 2006 alongside Adrian Newey as a Chief Designer. He was a key part of the team's early championship days between 2010 and 2013. He was then promoted to Chief Engineering Officer in 2016.

In May 2023, the team announced that Marshall would leave and join McLaren in 2024. He completed a period of gardening leave before joining the British team in January 2024.

#3 Jonathan Wheatley

Most recently, Red Bull announced that Jonathan Wheatley will be leaving the team after the 2024 F1 season. For now, he is the team's sporting director, supervising whether the team is operating under FIA regulations, and also manages the team's pit crew.

On August 1, 2024, the team announced his departure and stated that he would soon become team principal for Audi (currently Stake F1 team Kick Sauber) after serving a period of gardening leave in 2025.

#4 Dan Fallows

One of the first key figures who left Red Bull was Dan Fallows. He joined the team in 2006 as a team leader in the aerodynamics department and later became head of aerodynamics in 2014. Being the team's senior member, Fallows played a vital role in their early success between 2010 and 2013.

Fast forward to June 2021, it was announced that he would leave the team and join the Aston Martin F1 team from April 2022. His departure essentially started the domino effect of other key figures gradually leaving the Austrian giants.

#5 Lee Stevenson

Lee Stevenson used to be Max Verstappen's first mechanic at Red Bull. The duo had a close relationship as they worked on the car over the years. Initially, Stevenson was chief mechanic for Daniil Kvyat, but when the Russian was replaced by Verstappen, he started working with the now three-time world champion.

In March 2024, Stevenson announced that he would be leaving the Austrian giants and find a new challenge in F1. After a few months, he joined Stake F1 team Kick Sauber as a chief mechanic.
