Abu Dhabi 2018 will be remembered as Alonso's final race

Fernando Alonso - 11th

It was an emotional farewell for Fernando Alonso after Sunday's race.

311 races since starting out with Minardi in 2001 along with picking up two world championships in 2005 and 2006 - the Spaniard has had one hell of a career.

Alonso just missed out on a point to add to his career total of 1800 points.

But one of the moments of the year was Alonso being joined by Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton when all three multiple champs performed donuts at the finish line.

What a career!

Stoffel Vandoorne - 14th

It was also a farewell for Stoffel Vandoorne before he leaves F1 for Formula E.

After two full seasons at McLaren alongside Alonso, the Belgian could not convince the team bosses to keep him on for 2019.

It is very unclear if Vandoorne will ever return to the racing series but who knows at this moment in time.
