Andrea Stella is one of the rising figures in Formula 1. He is a motorsport executive and currently serves as the team principal for the McLaren Formula 1 racing team. He was born on February 22, 1971, in Orvieto, Umbria, Italy. Stella did his schooling in Italy and later got admitted to Sapienza University of Rome to earn a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering. After graduating, he earned a doctorate in mechanical engineering.

Stella started his journey in F1 as a performance engineer for the Ferrari F1 team in 2000. In 2006, he was promoted to senior race engineer for Michael Schumacher. Later, he served as the race engineer for Kimi Raikkonen in 2009 and for Fernando Alonso from 2010 to 2014. All these drivers won the driver’s title, showcasing Stella’s brilliance behind the track. In 2015, he joined the McLaren F1 team as the head of race operations.
