Bahrain to have night race in 2014 season

Bahrain’s Sakhir circuit will become the third circuit to have racing under the flood lights after Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

Bahrain will do so to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its first Grand Prix this year. Bahrain race takes place on April 6 and, like the Singapore Grand Prix will hold the race in entirely floodlit conditions.

The 65th season of F1 will be the 1st season where there will be 3 races under the floodlights. Qualifying will take place at the same time but on the previous day.
