The Belgian Grand Prix officials have made a few changes on track this year to improve draining of rain water along with minor tweaks to the kerbs and barriers around the track.
With rain expected throughout the weekend, the officials have added new drainage slots to the first 10 grid slots which will improve drainage on the Start/Finish straight if there is heavy rain at any point this weekend.
New tyre barriers have been added along the famous Eau Rouge up hill turn in order to improve the safety level at this high speed stretch.
In addition to the above, extra kerbs have been added behind the usual kerbs which are higher by 50mm in comparison to usual ones. These change has been made at Turns 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
