Ross Brawn is pushing for the planned Young Driver Test at the Silverstone Circuit to go ahead. The test was planned to be held after the British Grand Prix, but the management of the circuit informed that the track might not be available for all three days. However, the Formula 1 teams are still hoping a solution can be found to this problem. All but three (Red Bull, McLaren and Toro Rosso) teams have planned to do their tests at Silverstone.
Brawn: “I think we have got more discussions going on. We are hopeful the Silverstone test will go ahead and therefore we will not have to address that. But I think if Silverstone cannot go ahead we have to sit down and see if we can find a good solution for all the teams.”
