British GP winner Nico Rosberg has been reprimanded for failing to slow down for yellow flags.
The three-time race winner seemed to have improved on his first sector time when the yellow flags were out between turns 3 and 5 because of the debris on track courtesy the incident between Adrian Sutil and Nico Hulkenburg on lap 36.
The German was called to the steward’s office after the race and was asked to explain his actions.
However, Rosberg got away with a reprimand rather than a post race time penalty that would have resulted in Mark Webber being declared the winner.
This was Rosberg’s second win of the season after winning the Monaco Grand Prix last month.
