Carlos Sainz Jr. born on September 1, 1994, in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish Formula 1 driver. As the son of the mythical rally driving force Carlos Sainz Sr., his love for motorsport was evoked from a young age. Sainz began his career by karting and moving through the various levels of racing before entering Formula 1 in 2015 with Scuderia Toro Rosso. In his Formula One career, Sainz has driven for Renault, and McLaren, and is currently driving with Ferrari. Sainz has established a reputation as an extremely professional and calculating driver. His professional achievements include his first podium finish at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix with McLaren and a maiden win at the British Grand Prix in 2022, where he became the first Spanish driver to win for Ferrari since Fernando Alonso. As of November 2024, Sainz has competed in 21 races in the 2024 season and has two victories The Australian Grand Prix and The Mexico City Grands Prix, and completed on the podium five times, with over 264 points, he holds the fifth position in the driver's standings.

In the 2025 season, Sainz will be exiting Ferrari and will be racing for Williams, as Ferrari welcomes Lewis Hamilton in 2025. Sainz remains optimistic about the new chapter with Williams by believing he can fight for more wins and podiums during his journey in Formula 1.

Carlos Sainz Sr, the father of Carlos Sainz, is the person who influenced Carlos' life and career. Sainz Sr is a former rally car driver and won the World Rally Championship in 1990 and 1992. From an early age, he motivated Carlos to pursue his dreams in motorsport and introduced Carlos to karting when he was just four years old and built his first go-kart. The encouragement that Jose provided Carlos gave him the support needed to develop his skills and has been present with his son throughout his racing career, guiding and mentoring him at different stages.

Reyes Vazquez de Castro is the mother of the Spanish Formula 1 driver, Carlos Sainz Jr. She played an important role in his life, supporting and encouraging him throughout his career. Reyes is married to the rally driver, Carlos Sainz Sr., with whom she has three children: Carlos Jr., Blanca, and Ana. Reyes actively raised her children by supporting and encouraging them enough in everything they wanted. Even though she is not into racing, she remains active throughout the series for the races and accompanies him to the pits while shouting slogans for her child in most of the events where her son participated in Formula One racing.
