Charles Leclerc Siblings
Charles Leclerc has two brothers, Lorenzo Leclerc the eldest, and Arthur Leclerc the youngest.
Lorenzo Leclerc
Lorenzo Leclerc is the elder brother of the two brothers. Although he does not take part in the professional racing track for himself, Lorenzo has become an essential family figure since his father Herve Leclerc's death. Being an elder brother, Lorenzo has always been behind the scenes but actively supporting his brothers in their professional and personal lives.
Lorenzo is the only non-athlete of the Leclerc family. He works professionally as a manager and entrepreneur. In 2022, Lorenzo was appointed Managing Director at Square Capital Monaco, an independent wealth management company based in Monaco. Lorenzo's business ability and leadership have certainly played a small part in Charles's entry into the Formula 1 realm. He ensures Charles and Arthur get quality advice and support off the racetrack. Another close neighbor of Lorenzo's is the late Jules Bianchi, former Formula 1 driver and more so a family friend. Bianchi is the godfather and mentor of Charles Leclerc. His untimely death in 2015 would hit a cord with the whole family of Leclerc. Lorenzo often talks about how Bianchi influenced the other two brothers with their racing ambitions.
Arthur Leclerc
Arthur Leclerc is an up-and-coming Monegasque racing driver but is most famously known as the brother of Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc. Arthur, born on October 14, 2000, has carved his niche in motorsports and competes in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Like most racing professionals, Arthur began karting and then progressed to single-seaters. It was here that the public first saw him in Formula 4, wherein he competed in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship in 2019. The characteristics of the young driver led to his inclusion in the Ferrari Driver Academy, almost similar to his brother Charles. That took him to 2020 when he secured the second step on the podium for the Formula Regional European Championship position in which he claimed two races and took five podiums. That endeavor put him in the FIA Formula 3 Championship chair; he will be with Prema Racing for 2021. Arthur Leclerc had some encouraging days in his two F3 seasons, taking multiple podiums and race wins including a dramatic win at Le Castellet in 2021. In 2023, Leclerc moved to Formula 2 and again drove for Prema Racing. He continues his development as a driver in what is arguably the most competitive of the junior series, often considered the last before a seat in Formula 1. He tends to be an aggressive driver and has shown himself capable under pressure. All eyes are on Arthur Leclerc as he begins to build a resume with the hope of one day joining his brother in Formula 1.
