Daniel Ricciardo clocked 1:32.972 in his Toro Rosso to set the fastest lap on the second day of the Young Driver Test at Silverstone.
Day 2, however, did not see top drivers like Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen on the tracks. Ricciardo, who is looking for a race seat at Red Bull Racing next season, also tested for the World Champions but his first run did not go well as he overshot and hit the gravel.
Ricciardo, though, recovered well to record a lap of 1:33.187, third fastest of the day, in the RB9.
Toro Rosso had a great day as their drivers set up the best and the second best laps times for the day.
Force India have a lot of catching up to do as Paul di Resta managed a distant 13th place with best time of 1:36.356 in the 41 laps.
