Nigel Mansell won the first five races of the 1992 season. That season, he won nine races and the driver’s championship. He started his campaign by winning the season opener South African GP and the streak continued till the San Marino Grand Prix.

The 1992 season of F1 started in March and ended in November with a total of 16 races.

At Monaco (the sixth race), he was leading the pack and all set to extend his streak. But, unfortunately, Nigel had to pit due to a loose wheel nut and Senna took the lead. At a track extremely hard track for overtaking, Senna was able to legally block Nigel’s every move and thus ended the winning streak.
