Lewis Hamilton – 1st
Lewis Hamilton did something he’d never accomplished before by winning a race after he had already won the driver’s world championship. His tenth win of the season, and his second ever in Brazil also secured the constructor’s championship for Mercedes, their fifth in a row. Lewis got off to the perfect start and it seemed to be heading for a Merc 1-2 after Bottas had made it into second at the first corner. Max Verstappen’s charge eventually caught up with Hamilton, and the Brit had no answer to the Red Bull’s pace. Despite lucking into the win later in the race, Hamilton was sublime yet again, his pole lap on Saturday underlining his class.

Valtteri Bottas – 5th
Bottas has come under some criticism for his performances this season and his display on Sunday will have done little to sway his critics. The Finn, though, can call himself part of a championship winning side for the second time, he’s had a very important role to play. That being said, he struggled throughout the race, despite a good start,
