It's a statement the bosses at Ferrari want their rivals to believe or maybe underestimate.

Ferrari have been on fine competitive mode this year so far as it has seen their main driver Sebastian Vettel secure four race victories and Kimi Raikkonen consistently pick up podium finishes.

The Italian team has had an emotional week with the tragic death of Sergio Marchionne who was the Chief Executive Officer of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

There will be a tribute for Marchionne on both Ferrari cars this weekend. Ferrari along with their customer F1 teams Haas and Sauber will feature a black stripe on their cars.

Ferrari had struggled to compete at the top for a number of years until Marchionne's contribution changed all that and saw the Italian giants compete alongside Mercedes.

A lot of people's minds in the Ferrari garage and in Italy will be wanting to mark a win in Hungary for Marchionne.

What a special moment that would be for the history of Ferrari in Formula 1.
