ACTION ASCARI a
Alberto Ascari won two consecutive Formula 1 World Championships

Alberto Ascari also has seven consecutive Formula One victories to his name. During his winning run, the Italian driver managed to secure two consecutive world championships, one in 1952 and the second in 1953.

Driving the Ferrari, Ascari's first win of the famous unbeaten run came at the 1952 Belgian Grand Prix. The Italian dominated the race at Spa Francorchamps by winning the race from the pole position. He won all the remaining races of the season, taking his tally to six wins on the trot.

Alberto Ascari won the opening round of the 1953 season, which marked his seventh consecutive victory. Not participating in the second round of the championship brought his spectacular run of seven back-to-back wins to an abrupt halt.

Interestingly, the Italian went on to win the next two races of the season.
