#1 Michael Schumacher - 1999
You know the wall of champions is not to be messed with when Michael Schumacher has fallen to it.
In the same Canadian Grand Prix in 1999 where fellow world champions Hill and Villeneuve lost to the wall of champions, so did the seven-time world champion himself.
On the 29th lap, Schumacher thought for a moment he had escaped the chicane with no problems.
But the last gasp slip saw the German lose control of his Ferrari and rammed right into the wall of champions.
The tone of commentary from Murray Walker just shows what a surprise it was when Schumacher couldn't avoid the car shattering wall.
Schumacher said after the race: "Well it was very clearly a mistake by myself. I seem to make one a year and I hope that is the last one that I make this year (1999)."
Hakkinen must have thought it was his birthday that day with some of his championship rivals missing out on points.
It for sure helped the Finn go on and win a second consecutive world championship later on that season.
