Though there was no shortage of victories for Schumacher with Ferrari in his early season. The German was hired to bag the Driver's championship title, that has eluded Scuderia Ferrari since 1979, continued to remain out of reach. Michael and Ferrari came close to winning the title in the year 1997-98 but failed. He returned back in an amazing manner in 1999 and finally in the year 2000 he won the World championship title giving a break to Ferrari's 21-year wait
