Daniel Ricciardo is looking more and more of an outsider to win this year's Driver's Championship when more and more races come by.
His teammate Max Verstappen has been the faster driver over the last couple of races in France and Canada and has reached two podium finishes.
But since Ricciardo's future at Red Bull Racing is uncertain, it may be a little bit of a distraction for the Australian when trying to get his head focused for the races in front of him.
Ricciardo has had quieter races since winning last month's Monaco Grand Prix which is arguably his biggest and best victory in his F1 career to date.
Two race victories for the 28-year-old in 2018 just shows what a talent he is but the consistency is not strong with this at the moment.
